Heavenly Father,
In the name of Jesus Christ our Savior and Lord I pray that you would fill us all with Your grace and peace. Today is a new day and we receive your promise that only those temptations which are common will come to us. We also receive your promise that you are faithful and will provide us with everything we need to withstand these temptations. Help us Father to walk with integrity of heart and refuse to watch anything that is worthless.
Father, we pray for those in this world who hate you and hate us. We pray that you would reveal Yourself to them and break down the walls of resistance in their hearts. Help us to return blessing for cursing and to overcome evil with good.
Father, we pray for our nation that you would restore us back to fear and love of You. Father, we repent of our forsaking you and we repent of calling evil good and good evil. Father, help us Christians to stand for the truth but do so out of love.
Help us Father to obey your commands, especially your command to “do all things without grumbling or questioning, that you may be blameless and innocent, children of God without blemish in the midst of a crooked and twisted generation, among whom you shine as lights in the world” Help us to shine.
In the name of our Blessed Redeemer, Amen.
